352 Held In (a.k.a Wii'd) January 12, 2005 Tallahassee, Florida A woman died of water intoxication while trying to win a video console console in a radio station's contest, which involved drinking large quantities of water without urinating.
547 Oxidized (a.k.a Mr. Die) March 15, 2009 Crouton-on-Hudson, New York A man died when a 6.5-pound metal oxygen tank when it was pulled into the MRI machine while he underwent a test. He began to experience breathing difficulties while in the MRI and when an anesthesiologist brought a portable oxygen canister into the magnetic field, it was pulled from his hands and struck the man in the head.
398 Ho-boned (a.k.a C-Awe Struck) February 3, 1984 Fort Worth, Texas A hobo was struck by a car being driven by a woman who had been drinking and taking drugs that night. The hobo's torso became lodged in the woman's windshield with severe but not immediately fatal injuries. The woman drove home and left the car in her garage with the hobo still lodged in her car's windshield. She repeatedly visited the hobo and even apologized for hitting him. He died of his injuries several hours later.

Gassed Holed (a.k.a Pipe Smoked)

April 28, 2002 Denver, Colorado A death-row inmate died bashing his head against a metal pole behind the chair that he was strapped into. The poisonous gas had failed to kill him but left him in agony and gasping for eight minutes. It was later determined that the executioner was drunk.
823 Hot Spring (a.k.a Take a Bath!) June 21, 1969 Yellowstone, Wyoming A man died after attempting to rescue a friend's dog from the 200°F (93°C) water in a Pool, a hot spring. Kiwanis suffered third-degree burns over 100% of his body and died the next morning at a hospital.
216 Dead Wealth (a.k.a Fool's Death) 53 B.C. Carrhae, Partisan Empire A king was reported as having been put to death by the Partisans after losing the battle of Carrhae, by being forced to drink a goblet of molten gold, symbolic of his great wealth. A much more likely scenario is that in which, following his death, the Partisan executioners poured said "molten gold" into his mouth as a message/symbol representing the perils of his great thirst for wealth
